BILL ELMBLAD
BA, AT, ATC, CMA
Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Bill Elmblad received a BA in Physical and Health Education from Saginaw Valley State University in 1991. In the summer of 1992 he helped develop the Sports Rehab program at Marquette General Hospital, instituting athletic training coverage in local high schools and working with patients in the outpatient rehabilitation clinic.
Bill is a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as a Certified Medical Assistant. He brings over 30 years of experience to Synergy Sports Medicine and Fitness.
In 2008 he worked as a physician extender for a MGH Sports Medicine providing a variety of services, including:
- Initial evaluations
- Assessment and management for concussion patients
- Orthotic evaluations and fittings
- Durable medical equipment fittings
- Creating home exercise programs
- Assisting in PRP injections
- Assisting with Tenex procedure
In 2015 he was hired by Advanced Center for Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery continuing to work as a physician extender with additional responsibility of implementing rehabilitation programs.
