ALEX SCHAUB

From Peoria, Illinois, Alex Schaub completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2021 at Illinois State University and completed her Masters degree in exercise science at Northern Michigan University. While getting her degree, she also worked as a Graduate Assistant at NMU teaching undergraduate-level courses and working as an ATC on campus providing injury evaluations and rehabilitation to all populations, from collegiate athletes to office workers.

As a Certified Athletic Trainer, Alex provides injury pre-rehabilitation, injury education, and rehabilitation for her clients at Synergy, as well as sideline medical coverage for NMU club sports.

Alex is passionate in advocating for the athletic training profession, and education for the general public on how athletic trainers are medical professionals. She loves working with non-traditional athletes, such as with the military, theater and dance, as well as weekend warriors.

In her free time Alex loves to read, attend live music events with her friends, and of course, lift weights! She is excited to employ her fields of expertise at Synergy, as well as to gain more experience and knowledge from her amazing coworkers!
